HISTORY, ATTIRE AND RELIGIOUS FLOATS
With more than 800 years of documented history, Holy Week in Plasencia is one of the oldest in Extremadura. Currently, 12 Brotherhoods and Associations parade through the streets of Plasencia from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, combining the Castilian and Andalusian traditions into a unique, hybrid Holy Week, of incalculable cultural and artistic value.
