Our Lady of Sorrows of Hope

Carved in solid, polychrome, and gold-plated wood in 1959, sculptured by Mr. Luis Marco Pérez, professor of sculpture at the Fine Arts School of Madrid and winner of the National Sculpture Prize. it has two green velvet corduroy mantles with gold embroidery. The throne on which it is carried in procession was also designed by the sculptor himself. It was carried on wheels until 2005, when it was decided to carry same on the shoulders of 60 procession bearers.
