The Agony in the Garden is a Tableau procession float made up of two clothed figures representing Jesus Christ and the angel with the chalice, a work by Mr. José Gerique dating from the late 19 th century. This religious float has been carried in procession during Plasencia’s Holy Week for over 80 years and has set out in procession with various brotherhoods. Since 2014, the year in which the religious float was restored, it has been in carried procession with the Brotherhood of Silence on Holy Wednesday.
